Ilan Ben-David Ilan has held various top managerial positions in the printing industry, particularly at Scitex (Nasdaq: SCIX). In the last position he held there, Ilan was VP research and CTO of Karat Digital Press (KDP), a joint venture owned by Scitex and KBA, of which he was a cofounder. Prior to his joining Scitex, he was a group manager with Optrotech (later merged with Orbot to form Orbotech, Nasdaq: ORBK). Ilan is an electrical and mechanical engineer, with numerous patents and patent applications in diversified fields. Inherently an entrepreneurial technologist, Ilan is the moving force behind Genoa.

Dan Eliav Prior to co-founding Genoa, Dan has served as an independent consultant for product development and color management to early stage and start-up companies such as Nur Macroprinters (acquired by HP –(NYSE:HPQ), ImageID (acquired by Zetes – EBR:ZTS) and OradNet (ETR:OHT). Prior to this he held various positions with Scitex Corp. (acquired by Kodak and HP), where he took active role in the development of cutting edge image processing and work flow technologies. Dan is a graduate of the Israeli Naval Academy and has participated in the Distinguished Students Interdisciplinary Program in Tel Aviv University, with principal subjects of Economics & Cognitive Sciences. Dan holds a number of patents and patent applications in various fields, including displays, color reproduction and optics.

Dr. Moshe Ben-Chorin Moshe is a respected scientist in the areas of solid-state physics and optical spectroscopy, with a rich professional and academic experience in various areas in physics. Moshe was Principal Physicist at Karat Digital Press, a Scitex subsidiary, where he was primarily engaged in developing algorithms and methods to match a color proof with a keyless, anilox printing press. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics and Mathematics (Talpiot) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, cum laude; an M.Sc. in Physics, Technion, Haifa; and a Ph.D. in Physics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. |
