Ken Levy - Chairman Kenneth Levy is the Chairman of the Board at KLA-Tencor Corporation (Nasdaq: KLAC), and has been associated with the semiconductor capital equipment industry for more than 30 years. In 1976 he founded KLA Instruments Corporation, later merged with Tencor Instruments. Presently, KLA-Tencor is a multi-billion dollar company that is the world leader in process control solutions for the semiconductor manufacturing and related industries.
In addition to his duties at KLA-Tencor, Mr. Levy serves as a director emeritus on the board of Semiconductor Equipment and Materials Institute (SEMI), and as a board member of Juniper Networks, Extreme Networks and Ultratech Stepper, Inc. He also serves on the boards of several privately-held companies and acts as advisor to two venture capital partnerships.
Dr. Yehoshua (Shuki) Gleitman - Director Shuki Gleitman is a Managing Partner at Platinum Venture Capital, part of the SFK Group. Previously, he served as Chief Scientist of Israel's Ministry of Industry and Trade where he managed all of the Government of Israel's technology programs. As CEO of the Ampal Investment Group (Nasdaq: AMPL), Dr. Gleitman was responsible for the investment of over $200 Million in high-tech ventures, and led a joint venture with Motorola Israel to establish Mirs Communications Ltd, Israel's fourth largest cellular carrier. He holds a Ph.D., M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Physical Chemistry from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
Yoram Oron - Director Yoram Oron is the Founder and Managing Partner of Vertex Venture Capital, and is currently Chairman of the Board of the Israel Venture Association (IVA). He founded and managed several successful start-up companies, including Geotek Communications, Reshef Technologies and Telegate Ltd. He also served as President and CEO of Aryt Industries. He is a graduate of the Technion (BSc Electrical Engineering) and Tel Aviv University (MBA) , and has completed post-graduate studies at Wharton.
Nathan (Nati) Sharoni - Director After a distinguished career in the Israel Defense Forces, during which he time he rose to the rank of Major General, Nati Sharoni retired in 1982 and entered the industrial arena. First assuming a senior management position at Tadiran Electronic Industries, he was later appointed CEO of El-Op Electro-Optical Industries. Mr. Sharoni served as Israel's Economic Minister on behalf of the Ministry of Finance in North America, Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Industry and Trade, and President of State of Israel Bonds. Today he serves as a board member and advisor to several private and public companies.
Arthur Mayer-Sommer - Director Born and educated in Switzerland, Arthur Mayer-Sommer has spent much of his career in metals, primarily as a metal trader. A successful and well-known businessman, in recent years he has expanded the scope of his activities, making significant investments in both startups and listed companies. A graduate of Switzerland's most prestigious universities, he holds an MBA from HSG (Handels Hochsule St. Gallen) and a Masters in Chemistry from ETH (Eidgenoessische Technische Hoschsule).
Moshe Mizrahy - Director Moshe Mizrahy is co-founder and former CEO and director of Syneron Medical, Ltd (NASDAQ ELOS), as well as co-founder of Nizanim Venture Capital Fund and FIMI - First Israel Mezzanine Investors Ltd. One of Israel’s leading strategic consultants. Mr. Mizrahy's was the founder and owner of Business Strategy Group, a strategic planning consulting group. and served as corporate engineering and strategic planner for AVX-Kyocera Corporation Mr. Mizrahy holds a B. Sc. in industrial engineering from the Tel Aviv University in Israel and an M.B.A. from Pace University in NY, NY.
