Dual panel systems enable far higher brightness efficiency and are particularly suitable for LCOS-based engines going into RPTVs with a screen size above 50". 
The base brightness of a dual panel RGB system is typically about 80% higher than that of a single panel system with a similar color gamut. 
The adoption of multi-primary technology further enhances brightness by 40%, with the result that a 2-panel ColorPeak™ multi-primary system can have brightness as much as 2.5X that of a single panel RGB projection engine using the same lamp.

Genoa has implemented its ColorPeak™ technology in multiple dual panel LCOS systems.  Color conversion is performed by Genoa's Keshet™ multi-primary conversion chip.
